Agreement with the University of Manchester

The Dr Williams’s Trust is delighted to announce that it has finalised its agreement with the University of Manchester for the future care and management of its historic collections. After long, detailed, and careful deliberations over many months the paperwork was signed on Monday 23 February. The Trust was represented by Derek McAuley (Chair) and Meg Kirk, Chair of the Library & Collections Committee.

We will now begin the process, with the University of Manchester, of supporting the appointments process which will allow the tasks ahead to be tackled. Hopefully before long the richness and diversity of the Trust’s material will be brought again to the attention of scholars and the wider public.
